Welcome

My husband and I moved to GCISD for the great schools and strong community. As parents and business owners, we have a vested interest in ensuring our district attracts families, protects property values, and graduates successful students.

As an active volunteer in GCISD, I was honored to serve as 1 of 30 members of the district’s 10 year Strategic Planning Team, LEAD 2021. This team established a direction for the district that will bring self-directed, individualized learning and the technology to make it possible. Seeing a need in GCISD, I also founded SAGE, a non-profit parent group connecting gifted students, parents & educators now serving over 1,000 families. The success of this group propelled me to work towards the same vision for all families.

If elected, I pledge to serve as a resource to the community, increase parental involvement & communication, and support LEAD 2021 so that we may address every child’s unique learning needs. As the challenge in school finance continues, I am also committed to streamlining spending, conservatively managing our fund balance, and working with legislators to regain greater control of our tax dollars.

Through my history in implementing strategic plans, I know you can’t predict the future, but you can plan strategically and entrust decisions to those with proven results, passionate vision, strong ethics and moral values, and a commitment to serve.
